A brand New Trail Area
For Watford & Surrounding Areas

This brand new free-to-use trail facility is the first of its kind in the area, replacing the informal trails that were removed to protect the surrounding SSSI, and developed in partnership with Watford Borough Council. The result is a carefully designed, fully sanctioned trail zone that blends seamlessly into the woodland, encouraging responsible riding and community connection.

Built by ourselves at Bike Park Chilterns CIC and made possible through grant funding, this project has allowed us to deliver a progressive riding environment right on Watford’s doorstep. Ideal for beginners, families, and experienced riders, it’s a huge step forward for local access to high-quality off-road cycling infrastructure.

This is just phase 1 as well, there are 2 more phases planned and lots more trails to come.

To support the ongoing maintenance and development of the trails, you can join as a community member. This low cost membership is a great way to support the trails you love and help us build more.

About The Trails

Blue Trail

Suitable for: All

An all abilities trail with rollers, jumps and berms. All features are rollable making this trail ideal for all ages and most types of bikes.

Red Trail

Suitable for: Intermediate +

The red trail builds on the blue trail, introducing more jumps, tighter turns and additional technicality. All features remain rollable and suitable for most types of bike.
